THREE males were arrested from a vehicle on a major road this lunchtime.
A large police presence was spotted by Telegraph & Argus readers at the junction of Old Lane and Whitehall Road in Birkenshaw just before 1pm.
Around six police vehicles are said to have been at the scene as the arrests were being made.
West Yorkshire Police say three males were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and burglary offences.
They add that their enquiries remain ongoing.
One reader said: "Just driven past around six police cars making an arrest in Birkenshaw on Whitehall road."
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police stopped a vehicle at the junction of Old Lane and Whitehall Road, Bradford at just after 12.55 today.
"Three males inside were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and burglary offences.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
