BOSSES at Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) have commented about disruption to a number of flights today.
The Yeadon-based airport has reported several diversions to other sites and some cancellations.
It comes amid icy weather conditions as an Arctic blast grips the country.
A spokesperson for LBA said: "We are open but experiencing delays and disruptions to flights due to the adverse weather.
"We'd recommend passengers check with their airlines and on our website for live updates."
Among the diversions were the 7.55am Ryanair arrival from Alicante, which was sent to land at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the 8.05am Aer Lingus arrival from Dublin, which was diverted to Birmingham Airport, and the 8.40am Wizz Air Hungary arrival from Gdansk, which was sent to East Midlands Airport.
There have also been several cancelled departures today, including the 8.55am Aer Lingus flight to Dublin, and the 10am and 1.55pm KLM flights to Amsterdam.
