A NUMBER of flights have been diverted from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) today.
Among the diversions were the 7.55am Ryanair arrival from Alicante, which was sent to land at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the 8.05am Aer Lingus arrival from Dublin, which was diverted to Birmingham Airport, and the 8.40am Wizz Air Hungary arrival from Gdansk, which was sent to East Midlands Airport.
There have also been several cancelled departures today, including the 8.55am Aer Lingus flight to Dublin, and the 10am and 1.55pm KLM flights to Amsterdam.
A reason for the diversions and cancellations has not been confirmed, but they come amid icy weather conditions.
