A DRIVER has been sent to the cells for a number of offences after a police chase in the Bradford district.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team said a car they had their eyes on failed to stop for them.
This resulted in a pursuit - involving officers from the team and the force's roads policing unit - which ended in Queensbury.
A spokesperson from the team said: "The car's tyres were stung and it eventually came to a stop."
They said one person had been taken to the cells for failing to stop, dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking and drugs offences.
West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team operates across the Bradford district, deploying officers seven days a week in cars and on bikes.
They work as part of Operation Steerside, which was launched in the region in 2016 to tackle crimes on the roads.
