POLICE have made an arrest for obstruction, seized a motorbike that was being ridden in an anti-social manner and recovered another stolen motorcycle in three incidents in Bradford.
Officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team tackled incidents of anti-social motorbike use at Green Lane in Baildon and Buttershaw and recovered at stolen motorbike on West Royd in Shipley.
In three posts on X, formerly Twitter, the Steerside Enforcement Team wrote: "Following reports of off road motorbikes being used at Green Lane, Baildon, we attended and seized this under S.165 RTA 1988 powers.
"A third party who didn't know when to walk away was also arrested for obstructing us during the incident."
Regarding the Buttershaw incident, they wrote: "This vehicle had been sighted on multiple occasions being ridden in an anti-social manner in the Buttershaw.
"Following some excellent community intelligence we seized it from an address in the area under S.59 Police Reform Act powers."
Regarding the Shipley incident, they wrote: "We attended an address on West Royd in Shipley earlier this week on enquires, finding a suspected stolen scooter in the garden – the registration came back as being a tractor."
"It was subsequently seized, enquiries ongoing to establish its true identity."
