A RIDER was arrested after he reportedly tried to prevent police from seizing his motorbike.
Police attended the Lower Green area of Baildon on Saturday following several complaints regarding nuisance off-road bikes being ridden dangerously on the roads and footpaths.
A spokesperson for the force said: "On Saturday (06/01/2024), officers from Shipley NPT and Operation Steerside were directed to the Lower Green area of Baildon.
"This followed a number of complaints regarding nuisance off-road bikes being ridden dangerously on the roads and footpaths.
"Upon arrival, the officers managed to locate and seize one of the bikes with the rider still present."
Police say the rider reportedly "attempted to interfere and prevent the officers from taking the bike".
They added that he was then arrested.
