POLICE say they are "urgently" searching for a missing teenager who may be in West Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Police said 17-year-old Lily - whose surname has not been released - is missing from York.
She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with long dark brown hair, a pale complexion, and a nose ring.
She was wearing black leggings, a black hoodie and a grey jacket when she was last seen.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "She left home at around 11.40am yesterday, but has not returned.
"She may be in the West Yorkshire area.
"Urgent enquiries are ongoing to locate her.
"If you see Lily or know where she is, please call North Yorkshire Police straight away."
If you see Lily - an "immediate sighting" - you should ring 999.
If you have information that could help find her, you should call the force on 101, or using the contact options on the North Yorkshire Police website.
