EMERGENCY services were scrambled to a house fire on a Bradford street last night.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on New Cross Street, in West Bowling shortly after 8.45pm.
Three crews were sent to the scene - two from Bradford Fire Station and one from Odsal.
Upon arrival, they discovered a fire in the basement which they extinguished.
A man was helped by paramedics at the scene, according to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS).

A WYFRS spokesperson told the Telegraph & Argus: "We were called at 8.46pm last night to reports of a house fire on New Cross Street in Bradford.
"We sent three crews, two from Bradford and one from Odsal.
"This was a fire in the basement, and breathing apparatus, hose reels and positive pressure ventilation was used to extinguish it.
"One male was attended to at the scene by colleagues from Yorkshire Ambulance Service."
