TWO 15-year-olds burgled a house and stole car keys.
The male teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to their age, were both sentenced at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
They pleaded guilty to one count each of burglary of a dwelling and theft - no violence on the same day.
The duo entered a home in Springfield Lane, in Morley, Leeds, as trespassers in November last year.
Car keys for a Ford Focus and an unknown amount of pound coins were stolen in the burglary, according to court records.
Both boys were handed 12-month referral orders in punishment, as well as being ordered to pay £50 in compensation each.
The orders mean the teenagers must attend meetings alongside a selected parent or guardian with a Youth Offender Panel across the year.
The compensation will be paid by their parent or guardian in £5 weekly instalments.
