A COURT was forced to delay the start of proceedings today.
Bradford Crown Court, on Drake Street in the city centre, did not host any hearings on Thursday (January 4) morning.
It is understood this was because of a problem with the building's heating.
His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service has confirmed the court was temporarily closed while engineers worked to "resolve an issue with a boiler".
Several hearings took place in the afternoon as the court began to reopen.
A spokesperson for His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service apologised for the disruption caused as some trials were adjourned.
Hearings at the court, which has been open for over 30 years, typically run across the eight rooms throughout the day from 10am to 4.30pm.
