KFC says it is "sad" to close one of its fast food restaurants in Bradford.
The fast food giant has shut its restaurant in The Avenue Retail Park on Weaverthorpe Road, off Tong Street.
The eatery - known for its buckets of fried chicken, plus combo meals and sides - has been serving the residents of Holme Wood and Tong for years.
A spokesperson from KFC told the Telegraph & Argus that they had had a "great run but all good things must come to an end".
When the T&A visited the site on Wednesday, the shutters remained down throughout the day and nobody could be seen in the building.
It means now there are only six KFCs open across the Bradford district.
These are at Thornbury, Odsal, Otley Road, Ingleby Road, Keighley, and inside The Broadway Shopping Centre.
A KFC Spokesperson said: “It’s been a great run, but all good things must come to an end, and we’ve sadly closed the doors at KFC Avenue Retail Park.
"We hate goodbyes so we’re looking forward to welcoming all our loyal fans to our Odsal Road restaurant and our other sites in the area – see you there!”
