WE ALL love afternoon tea.
Back in 2006 a group of young people at Buttershaw Youth Club on Reevy Road West put together an afternoon tea party.
The event was sponsored by the Princes Trust, a UK-based charity founded in 1976 by King Charles lll to help young people build confidence and get a good start in life, whatever challenges they face. The trust supports people aged 16 to 30.
The tea these youngsters have made looks delicious.
At this time of year our homes are filled with cakes, biscuits and nibbles left over after Christmas. Why not put some of them together on a plate, put the kettle on and treat yourself to an afternoon tea? It might cheer you up and help you through at least one of the dark, dreary days of January.
