A pedestrian who was involved in crash on a major Bradford road has sadly died in hospital.
Mohammed Sadiq, 63, was hit by a black Volkswagen Golf on Great Horton Road at lunchtime on Wednesday, December 13.
Today, police confirmed Mr Sadiq passed away in hospital last night.
A 25-year-old man was arrested and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police can sadly confirm that a pedestrian has died after a collision on Great Horton Road, Bradford on December 13.
"Mohammed Sadiq, aged 63, from Bradford passed away from his injuries in hospital on December 27.
"He was a pedestrian when he was involved in a fail-to-stop collision with a black VW Golf on Great Horton Road at 12.27pm on December 13.
"A 25-year-old man was arrested at a local police station a short while after the collision. He’s since been bailed pending further enquiries.
"Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone who saw the collision or saw the vehicle prior to the collision or after the collision to come forward or anyone who may have dash cam footage.
