A BUS company has issued a statement following the sad sudden death of one of its drivers.

Emergency services were seen at Bradford Interchange last Friday.

First Bus has confirmed one of their workers sadly passed away.

The bus company said they are "all shocked" by the "sudden and tragic loss".

Support is being provided to their team at the Bradford depot.

Tom Bridge, Operations Director of First Bus in West Yorkshire, said: “We’re all shocked at this sudden and tragic loss of one of our colleagues.

"Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

“The team at the Bradford depot are comforting each other and we are providing support.”
