TWO people were taken to hospital after a three-car crash on Christmas Eve.
Emergency services, including three ambulances, were called to the scene of a crash on Westgate, in Heckmondwike on Sunday evening.
The crash happened near Wormald Street.
According to traffic alerts at the time, the road was blocked both ways for a number of hours as a result of the collision.
Queuing traffic was also reported.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) said: "We were called to reports of a three-vehicle crash on Westgate, Heckmondwike.
"We sent three ambulances and two patients were taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary."
The T&A has contacted West Yorkshire Police for a comment.
