A WEATHER warning has been issued for strong and gusty winds on Christmas Eve in Bradford.
The Met Office has put in place a yellow alert, which covers the district, for Sunday.
It starts at 8am and will last until 10pm.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Strong, very gusty winds may again cause some travel disruption during Sunday, Christmas Eve."
The Met Office said it is expecting there to be "strong winds perhaps leading to some transport disruption".
It is set to be a mixed but mild day in Bradford on Christmas Eve, with the Met Office forecasting heavy rain at 3am, turning overcast at 9am, and cloudy at 12pm, with the chance of rain dropping to 10 per cent at 6pm.
The temperature is expected to sit between 11 and 12 degrees Celsius throughout the day.
Weather experts at the Met Office said yesterday a white Christmas is "likely" - but not for many.
Expected impact of the strong and gusty winds:
- There is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, and some branches and trees may be damaged or brought down
- There is a chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
- There is a chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected, while a few roads and bridges could close
- There is a small chance of injuries due to flying debris
