AN extra 10 homes could be built next to a recently completed Eastburn housing development.
A planning application for the homes on a field next to the Holly Fold development has been submitted to Bradford Council by Fisher and Wilkinson Ltd.
The homes would all be three bedroom, and 22 parking spaces would be provided on the site.
The application says: “The proposal for the site will greatly improve the area and vacant land, creating a development of new dwellings which will contribute to meeting the housing demand in the local area.
“The design seeks to fit in with its context, taking reference from existing house styles in the area and being positioned comfortably within the landscape.
“The proposed form, siting and massing responds to and also respects the local vernacular. It will also make a positive contribution to the character of the local area.”
A decision on the application is expected in March.
