POLICE carried out a road traffic operation targeting the 'Fatal 5' in the Bradford Moor area of the city at the weekend.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for the Steerside Enforcement Team said: "Over the weekend officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team joined forces with West Yorkshire Police - Bradford East in the Bradford Moor area on Operation Smokehill.
"The operation specifically targets the "Fatal 5" (the top five reasons why people die during road traffic collisions), those being excess speed, no seatbelt, mobile phone use, drink/drug drive and careless driving.
