A MAN has been handed a six-month driving ban after he was caught speeding.
Justin Richard Bissett, 37, of Plumpton Drive, Wrose, was driving on Bolton Road, between the junction with Lister Lane and the junction of Wapping Road, on January 31 this year.
He was caught driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone.
At Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court, a collection order was made and he was fined £100, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £40 and costs of £110.
In total, he must pay £250 before January 8, 2024.
The court record states the disqualification is "obligatory due to repeat offending".
His driving record was also endorsed with three points.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when imposing the sentence.
