A MAN who gained sexual gratification from over 2,000 images and videos of children has avoided jail.
Daniel Travis, of Keighley Road in Illingworth, admitted to all three counts of possessing indecent images of children at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.
Recorder Andrew Dallas said they were "serious offences" for which only a custodial sentence could be justified.
The 33-year-old downloaded the images from a sharing software, the court heard.
Recorder Dallas added that Travis now accepts the images were for sexual gratification.
The court heard how he has not offended since the images were seized.
Travis was sentenced to seven months imprisonment which was suspended by two years.
He will also pay £1,500 in court costs and be on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
