POLICE are trying to trace an 'old style' white Ford Transit van which is believed to have been used in three separate alleged crimes in Skipton and in Farnhill.
Officers say at around 9.30am on Tuesday the van was seen outside the Cross Keys pub in Newmarket Street where suspects tried to steal some property from outside an address before threatening a member of the public.
About an hour later, at around 10.30am, suspects entered a business at Craven Nursery Park, Snaygill Industrial Estate and took copper piping without the permission of the business owner.
A third incident happened on Main Street, Farnhill, between 10.35am and 10.55am where occupants of an ‘old style’ Ford Transit was involved in an altercation which resulted in a door and wing mirror of a delivery van being damaged.
Police are urging any witnesses or anybody who has CCTV or dash camera footage of the suspects or van involved to get in touch.
