A LURCHER Cross - who has earned the title of most overlooked pooch at a Dogs Trust branch in West Yorkshire - is preparing for a second Christmas in the charity’s care.
Nine-year-old Domino has been patiently waiting for potential adopters for the last 15 months, having been at Dogs Trust Leeds' rehoming centre since August 2022.
Since his arrival, thousands of applications have been received by the charity - yet not a single one has been for Domino.
However, the dedicated team at Dogs Trust Leeds is determined to turn Domino's Christmas wish into a festive reality.

Emma Wakefield, rehoming centre Manager at Dogs Trust Leeds, said: "Domino has become a cherished member of our family here at Dogs Trust Leeds.
"His playful nature, intelligence and the love he exudes make us root for him to find a loving home.
"We believe that there's someone out there whose heart Domino can capture this Christmas - and we urge everyone to consider giving him the chance he truly deserves, remembering that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas."
