A BRADFORD primary school is thrilled to have received a letter from His Majesty The King.
Wilsden Primary School, on Tweedy Street, was acknowledged by King Charles after it sent letters of celebration following the Coronation in May.
On the day, pupils dressed in red, white and blue, drew pictures, made food, and planted an apple tree on the school grounds.
The letter thanked the school for the ‘wonderfully kind letter and drawings’ and wished the ‘warmest good wishes to all of the pupils and staff at Wilsden Primary School’.
Liz Davison, Executive Headteacher at Wilsden Primary School, said: “The teachers and children here at Wilsden have been incredibly excited to have received the letter and it has been a great boost for everyone.
“We are incredibly proud of the children for their drawings and letters to His Majesty, and for getting stuck into all the lessons as well as celebrations.”
