A MAN has died after a fire in a residential area of Bradford, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed.
Emergency services rushed to an address on Rowantree Drive in Thorpe Edge on Saturday night (December 9).
Police vehicles, fire engines, and ambulances were seen on the road at around 11pm.
A man found inside the property was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 10.59pm on Saturday, December 9, police were called to a fire at an address on Rowantree Drive, Bradford.
"Emergency services attended and a man found inside the address was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The man’s death is not believed to be suspicious, and the Coroner’s Office has been informed."
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: "We were called at 10.46pm on Saturday, December 9, to Rowantree Drive, Bradford, to reports of a fire at a flat there.
"We sent three crews, two from Bradford and one from Shipley.
"Crews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire."
