PERMISSION is being sought for the residential conversion of buildings once used to house pigs and sheep.
Prior approval notifications have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council for the farm buildings at Craiglands Farm, Dick Lane, in Cowling, near Keighley, called 'the sheep store' and 'the piggery'.
Originally used as a piggery, the building has more recently been used for sheep and for the storage of 'smaller agricultural items and equipment', it is stated in submissions with the application.
The sheep store has similarly more recently been used for the 'storage and maintenance of agricultural machinery used at Craiglands Farm.'
Both buildings were in agricultural use in March, 2013.
The planning statement by the applicant states: "The total number of dwellings created on the holding will not exceed three."
