POLICE have seized a car after the driver was found to be disqualified until next year.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team stopped the Toyota Urban Cruiser on Harrogate Road, near Ravenscliffe, in Bradford.
It turned out the driver was banned from getting behind the wheel until October next year.
A spokesperson from the team said over the weekend: "We got behind this car pulling out of Ravenscliffe and stopped it for a document check as it was showing as uninsured.
"The driver was found to be disqualified until October 2024.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver reported for offences."
The force's Steerside Enforcement Team works across Bradford district, deploying officers seven days a week in cars and on bikes.
Operation Steerside was launched in 2016 specifically to tackle dangerous and anti-social driving in Bradford and evolved two years later into a multi-agency partnership to tackle crimes on the roads.
