POLICE stopped a car and discovered the driver was banned until next year.
A Toyota Urban Cruiser was stopped on Harrogate Road after a document check showed the vehicle was uninsured, police said.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the Steerside Enforcement Team said: "We got behind this car pulling out of Ravenscliffe and stopped it for a document check as it was showing as uninsured.
"The driver was found to be disqualified until October 2024."
The spokesperson added: "Vehicle seized and driver reported for offences."
