THE ambulance service has provided an update following an incident in Shipley this evening.
The Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) was called to what is understood to be the beck, just off Canal Road, at around 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said the HART was called to initial reports of a car that had gone into the water.
The spokesperson said that on arrival, there was a car at the side of the water, in a field.
Ambulance resources were stood down at that point and it is believed to be an ongoing police incident, the ambulance service spokesperson said.
The T&A has contacted West Yorkshire Police for details, but the force is unable to provide anything further at present.
