A DEVELOPMENT of 11 light industrial units on a vacant site in Bradford has been approved.
The units can be built on land at the junction of Mount Street, Bowling Back Lane and Birkshall Lane after the application was approved by Bradford Council.
The application, by a Mr Mahmood, follows a similar application for eight units on the site that was withdrawn earlier this year after Highways Officers raised concerns.
After speaking with officers, the applicant returned with amended plans that addressed the highways issues.
The revised plans include two blocks of industrial units with parking spaces and a turning space in between.
Planning officers pointed out that the site lies in one of Bradford’s Employment Zones, so light industrial was an ideal use for the site.
