People who work in the social care sector in Bradford district have been urged to share their views.

Bradford Care Association, in collaboration with Bradford Council, is holding a survey about workers’ experiences and careers.

Around 15,500 people work in social care in Bradford, but there are more than 900 vacancies to fill.

A new recruitment drive is due to take place in 2024, encouraging more people to consider the rewarding aspects of a career in social care.

Now the survey will harness the views of current social care workers and address different things affecting the industry.

Care workers and individuals engaged in the district’s social care sector can find the survey by visiting

A series of engagement sessions are also being held online and can be joined by visiting https://form.jotform.com/233254637890362

Rachael Ross, workforce lead at Bradford Care Association, said: “The social care workforce in Bradford are superb, they do such amazing things every day, making a real difference to the people that they care for and support.

“We would love to hear from you, to find out why you chose to work in social care and what you enjoy most about your role to help us to shape the recruitment campaign next year.”
