YOUNG people are being invited to share how safe they feel in public spaces.
The Story Pole project is appealing for people aged between 16 and 25 to explore the concept of safety and advocacy for women and girls.
Participants must live, work, or study in the Bradford district.
Joined by artists Aamta-Tul Waheed and Carole Griffiths, the group will be using creative processes like sculpture to present their thoughts.
By the end of the project, a story pole will be formed and displayed at Cliffe Castle in Keighley.
It is hoped the artwork will inspire reflection and story-sharing while demonstrating the power of communities reclaiming public spaces.
The deadline to apply for the steering group is Friday, December 22, 2023.
