A WORKER at a Bradford bakery has avoided a driving ban after he crashed a BMW into another car.
Fasih Saeed, of Buttermere Road in Undercliffe, admitted to driving a BMW 320 without due care and attention on the M62 Westbound, between junctions 28 and 27, in Leeds on November 18, 2022.
Court documents say as traffic slowed, the 21-year-old was unable to stop in time and collided with the car in front which in turn hit another vehicle.
All three cars sustained damage in the collision.
The mitigating circumstances on the court file said Saeed works for a company that bakes sweets and supplies them to Nafees Bakers.
They added the company and its employees would suffer if he were to be disqualified.
Saeed was fined £424 and had to pay a £170 victim surcharge and £110 in court costs.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
Saeed's case was heard at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 15.
The T&A approached Nafees Bakers for a comment.
