Bradford Council announced from 4pm today, gritters will be covering all Priority One Routes across the district, With two further patrols from 9pm tonight gritting 'when and where needed overnight.'
The Met Office shows temperatures will hit minus figures at around 4am tomorrow.
The recent plunging temperatures have given photographers the chance to get out and about to capture the winter wonderland scenes across the Bradford district.
However, slippery surfaces have also created tricky driving conditions, especially on side roads and lesser routes.
Bradford Council says it has a priority network that it monitors and grits. This includes bus routes, roads that carry the highest amount of traffic and includes access to hospitals and schools.
More information regarding gritting routes can be found on the council website.
