A DESIGNER store in The Broadway is to close its doors next month - but plans are already in place for the unit it will leave empty.
Flannels opened in October in the former Tessuti store as part of a rebrand.
Tessuti opened its branch at The Broadway in late 2016, a year after the shopping centre opened.
Earlier this year, a sign on its window said the store was due to close in July.
The message then re-directed shoppers to the Flannels website.
Back in October, Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: "Tessuti has now closed and is being rebranded to Flannels."
What has The Broadway said?
Today, he confirmed Flannels would be closing, but said the centre has plans in place for the unit.
He said: “I can confirm that the Flannels pop-up store will be closing at the end of January 2024.
"We have plans in place for this unit in the New Year and we are looking forward to developing the opportunity."
