LATEST NEWS: Man who died trying to save his brother in house fire is labelled a 'hero'
A MAN has tragically died following a house fire in Bradford this morning.
The incident happened at a property on Finch Street in Little Horton at around 5.30am this morning (Saturday, December 2).
A man, woman, and child managed to escape the house.
A second man who was brought out of the address by firefighters was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the blaze is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 5.31am today, police were contacted by the fire service who were attending a fire at a house in Finch Street, Bradford.
"A man, a woman, and a child had managed to escape from the property and were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
"A second man was brought out of the address by firefighters and was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A scene is in place at the address and police are working with fire service investigators to establish the exact cause of the fire which is not believed to be suspicious."
The Telegraph & Argus has approached West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service for a comment.
