A MAN's body was found on land near Bolton Abbey, police have confirmed.
A spokesperson from North Yorkshire Police said concerns were raised on Sunday, November 26, about a man from West Yorkshire who was missing.
“Officers from North Yorkshire Police were involved in the search and shortly after 12pm they discovered a body in the Bolton Abbey area," the spokesperson said.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the coroner in due course.
“The man’s family are being supported by the police. “
The Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and volunteers assisted.
No other information has been released.
