A BRADFORD cinema will help families get into the Christmas spirit this weekend. 

The Light, based at The Broadway shopping centre in Bradford city centre, is hosting a free event on Sunday, where children can decorate and write a wish on a star.

The stars will then be hung on The Light's Wish Christmas tree to create a beautiful display.

A spokesperson for The Light said: "This event is in honour of the new movie, Wish, and is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

"Additionally, The Light will have a donation box for those who would like to donate gifts as part of the Mission Christmas Appeal."

This appeal invites people to drop off Christmas presents for disadvantaged children.
