A BRADFORD charity which helps victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence has launched a fundraising appeal to help it continue its vital work.
Staying Put is asking people of Bradford to donate £2 to its Small Change, Big Difference Christmas appeal.
Andy Ellis, business development manager at Staying Put, said: "The aim is that if everyone gives just £2, we'll be able to raise £100,000.
"We can use the money to improve the living conditions at our existing refuges and our other safe houses, and we'll be able to employ additional experienced staff to help support more people in Bradford."
The charity said there are 43 incidents of domestic abuse in Bradford every day, while one in four women and one in eight men have been raped or sexually assaulted as an adult.
