A BRADFORD district bakery has been named the best in the UK - outshining hundreds of other applicants.
Cabbage Patch Bakery, based in Baildon, won the Most Unique Cake Designer gong at The Quirky Wedding Awards earlier this month.
The awards, which were judged by industry experts and took place in Birmingham, celebrate inclusive, accessible, and unique wedding suppliers.
The applicants were assessed on four main areas of their business – Inclusivity & Accessibility, Sustainability, Customer Service and Uniqueness.
Owner Beccy Cuthbert, 35, opened her business in 2018 and moved into a studio in 2021.
She specialises in making curious and creative cakes packed with vegetables and is a keen advocate for sustainability and using local producers.
Cabbage Patch Bakery was also named the best for Cakes and Treats in Yorkshire & North East at the North of England Wedding Award, beating a tough list of 17 others nominated for the award.
Beccy said: "It has blown me away to receive recognition for the work we do.
"I truly am humbled and so grateful to win not just one, but two awards this year.
"It makes everything we do so worthwhile.”
