A DISTRICT primary school has been forced to close after a "significant leak" flooded two classrooms.
Worth Valley Primary School on Bracken Bank Crescent, Keighley, will be closed today due to flooding overnight which has resulted in the the mains water supply being turned off.
The school is unable to operate safely without it, a spokesperson said.
Pupils will be off today but the school has said it will keep parents updated.
An alert on Bradford Council's emergency closure notification system said: "School is closed today.
"Overnight there has been a significant leak and subsequent flood in two classrooms. As a result, the mains water supply has had to be turned off, which school cannot operate safely without.
"We will do everything we possibly can to ensure school is open tomorrow and will keep everyone updated."
