THERE are reports of long queues at Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) this morning.
PEOPLE have complained on X, formerly known as Twitter about the queue at security this morning.
Jet2 apologised for the inconvenience.
A reply to those raising concern says: "We would like to apologise for queues at security at Leeds Bradford Airport this morning.
"Should you wish to pass on your feedback, please contact Leeds Bradford Airport directly.
"Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."
What has LBA said?
LBA has advised customers to allow for extra time when travelling due to upgrades being made to the security area.
A message on the airport's website states: "We are currently upgrading our security area with new technology to enhance the security process for all our departing passengers; please allow extra time and plan to arrive a bit earlier than usual when going through security."
LBA has been contacted for further information.
