TWO drivers were dealt with for speeding by police carrying out checks in a Bradford district village.
Officers were stationed on Mackingstone Lane, Oakworth, on Tuesday.
This was in response to concerns raised by the community.
Police said two drivers were caught over the 30mph speed limit.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "In response to concerns raised by the local community, officers carried out speed checks on Mackingstone Lane, Oakworth.
"During the course of the checks two drivers were dealt with for exceeding the 30mph limit.
"One driver was recorded at 53mph, who will be issued with points and a fine.
The other, found travelling at 57mph, has been reported for summons."
