A BRADFORD majorette group has had its best season - winning more than 70 first-place spots.
The Centre Stage Troupe, which trains at Ravenscliffe Youth Club, finished its season with 249 solo and duo places in the top four. Seventy-one of these were first places.
The troupe won three World Champion titles, 16 National Champion titles, and 17 Overall Champion titles.
The National Championships were held at The Norbreck hotel in Blackpool on the weekend of October 28.
Nicola Standing, head coach at Centre Stage, said: “This has been our best season to date. I'm more than hopeful and optimistic going forward into next season.
“These girls work really hard week in week out and deserve the success they have had this year.”
The troupe is looking for more majorettes to get on board as the new competition season begins.
Sessions are held at Ravenscliffe Youth Club on Wednesdays, 6pm until 7pm for beginners from the age of three to 16.
