A BRADFORD food bank and community hub is set to distribute more than 200 winter warm packs.
The packs have been created to help residents during cold nights and contain a blanket, an oodie, a hot water bottle, a flask, thermal socks, and useful information.
Mobeen Hussain, manager of the We Are Queensbury food bank and community hub, based on High Street, said: “The aim is residents can save a little from putting the heating on or using their electric.
“During this time of year, I believe we must look out for one another and this is our gesture with many more to come.”
"We've had 100 families show interest already.”
The packs have been made possible through sponsorship from GDPR Tuition and a grant from Bradford Council.
"We've been going for three years. We started with three volunteers, and now we're up to 16," said Mobeen.
Anyone who may find a winter warm pack useful should visit the We are Queensbury Facebook page.
