A YOUNG man was caught carrying three knives on a residential street in Bradford.
Adrian Cicak, 23, of Kensington Street, in Girlington, Bradford, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a knife blade or sharp-pointed article in a public place, at Kirklees Magistrates' Court last Tuesday.
He was found to be in possession of a black-handled kitchen knife - 4.5 inches in length - and two other kitchen knives of the same size in Girlington Road, which is the street next to where Cicak lives, on August 13 this year.
The 23-year-old also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police or court bail on September 8.
Cicak was handed a community order for the offences.
This included 100 hours of unpaid work, to be completed in the next year, up to 10 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) days and the forfeiture and destruction of the three knives.
He was also ordered to pay £199 in total, consisting of £85 in costs and a surcharge of £114 to fund victim services.
