WITH storms coming our way thick and fast, we are growing accustomed to downpours. It doesn’t take much for a road to resemble a river, causing drivers to weigh up the risk of ploughing through. Some chance it, edging slowing across, while others love to cause a big splash, as these pictures show.
The bunch of feathered friends would be safe enough, however. The picture of ducks waddling across the road, under gathering storm clouds, was taken in Carleton-in-Craven in 2014 by Yorkshire Dales-based photographer Stephen Garnett.
