High winds and rainy weather are expected to sweep over Bradford district when Storm Debi hits the UK.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across the country - including West Yorkshire - between 4am and 6pm on Monday, November 13.

The warning states: "Storm Debi has the potential to bring very strong and disruptive winds on Monday."

The weather agency has forecast heavy rain, with winds becoming stronger throughout the morning.

Gales are also likely across the Pennines.

The rain will gradually become lighter, with some drier intervals during Monday afternoon.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 14 °C.
