MORE than 250 people, including civic and faith leaders, members of the armed forces and cadets gathered in Bradford Cathedral for the 77th Bradford Festival of Remembrance.
Held in conjunction with Bradford Council, it began with the raising of the ensign and a welcome from Lord Mayor of Bradford Cllr Gerry Barker and the Dean of Bradford, the Very Revd Andy Bowerman, who said. “Today we remember that even now we are still in the midst of much war and disunity across the world.”
Among those attending were representatives from the Parachute Regiments, Royal Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, the Royal Navy, Army, RAF and the Scouts Association, and there was music from the City of Bradford Brass Band.
