A TOWN centre bistro has made the "hardest decision" by closing its doors after five years.
Broadley’s Bistro & Wine Bar, on South Hawksworth Street in Ilkley, closed its doors on Sunday, November 5.
"It’s the end of this particular chapter but there is plenty more to be written," bosses said.
A statement on Broadley's Facebook page read: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the permanent closure of Broadley’s Bistro & Wine Bar, Ilkley with our final service held on Sunday, November 5.
"After much consideration and mixed emotions, we have had to make the hardest decision to cease trading.
"We want to thank all of our wonderful employees and customers for your loyalty and support over the last five and a half years."
It added: "Although there is never a good time to deliver such news to our team of staff who have worked so hard, the difficult decision was made in the hope that by closing this side of Christmas they are more successful at finding work than they would be if we had closed in January.
"It’s the end of this particular chapter but there is plenty more to be written and we do hope that our paths will cross again soon so keep your eyes peeled for what Broadley’s does next.
"With heartfelt thanks, great memories and much love, Matt & Kerry."
