TRIBUTES have poured in for a teenager who tragically died today after a stabbing incident.

Well-wishers have gathered at the scene of the incident in Horsforth tonight to lay flowers and pay tribute. 

On social media he has been described as a 'kind' and 'caring' young boy who was cared about by many people.

Friends gathered tonight to pay their respects to the teenager. 

One person posted under the T&A post: "So sad, thoughts are with his family x"

Another person said: "So sad  thoughts and prayers to his family such a young life taken far too soon."

A tribute left on Meta, said: "So sad RIP young man condolences to his family."

"Rip to the young lad my thoughts are with is family it is so sad x."

West Yorkshire Police has now launched a murder investigation and a male has been arrested in relation. 

Officers were called to the Town Street area in Horsforth at 2.57pm today after a report a teenager had been assaulted and seriously injured. 

Emergency services attended and a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital in a critical condition. It was later confirmed that he had died.
